NexLevel Challenge has put together a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to providing the ultimate retreat experience. Every staff member holds either a Level 1 or Level 2 certification as a Challenge Course Instructor.

Managing Director

Beth Fredeen, Managing Director

Beth has over 30 years’ experience in finance, operations and management in the corporate world and has worked in oil & gas, ranching, transportation and telecommunications. She was also VP and COO of a large art gallery, providing expertise on various process improvements and operational initiatives in their 20,000 square foot gallery and events centre. As owner of NexLevel Solutions since 2000, Beth has provided small and medium-sized companies with business solutions designed to consolidate control of their finances, operations and business development functions.

Beth was born in Innisfail, Alberta and received her education in Bowden, prior to moving to Calgary to continue her education at SAIT and start her business career.

Beth is a Level 2 Challenge Ropes Course Instructor, and has her certification in American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.


Director - Business Development

Tara-Lee Goerlitz, Business Development Director

Tara-Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary with a specialty in Marketing. She has owned and operated several of her own businesses and is looking forward to promoting and growing this new family business. Tara-Lee has been involved in a wide variety of networking and marketing organizations and is constantly engaging in education and training in the sales and marketing arena.

Since Tara-Lee first participated in a Ropes Course program in the summer of 2004, she has firmly believed in the concept of adventure-based experiential learning. She is confident in the personal & professional growth participants will see in themselves and in those around them as a result of their involvement in this program.

Challenge Course Director

Troy Fredeen, Challenge Course Director

Troy has spent the last nine years in the banking industry with the last three years in management and auditing. Troy has had experience in the Challenge Course industry and brings a great deal of understanding and technical expertise in the team building arena. Troy graduated from Chestermere High School with honors and then attended Olds College where he obtained his Agricultural Business Diploma with a Finance Major. Over the past nine years he has furthered his education through the Athabasca and Dalhousie Universities to obtain his Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada designation.

Troy holds his certification in American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and is a Level 2 Ropes Course Instructor.

Challenge Course Manager

Devon Bradshaw – Challenge Course Manager

Devon graduated from Bowden Grandview High School and just received his diploma in Computer Information Systems from Red Deer College. Devon has worked for the past several years at the Innisfail Swimming Pool.

Devon is a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, holds his certification in Standard First Aid – CPR Level C and is a Level 2 Ropes Course Instructor.

Paul Hrabarchuk, Ropes Course Instructor

Paul has come to us from Manitoba, a cowboy through and through. He graduated from Swan Valley Regional Secondary school in Swan River, MB and comes from a former PMU Ranch in San Clara, MB. He was working on the Guest Ranch breaking colts when he was roped into taking the Challenge ropes course training. Paul has proven to be an amazing athlete and a great asset to our team. He is looking forward to working with our participants in inspiring individuals and teams to live to their fullest potential.

Wendy Bradshaw, Assistant Ropes Course Instructor

Wendy and her husband Dale have owned and operated the Red Lodge Guest Ranch since 1995. Wendy has many years experience working with youth groups and corporations and brings a wealth of knowledge to this new venture.

Wendy is a Certified Assistant Ropes Course Instructor and also has Level 2 Ropes Course Instructor training.

Yvonne Bradshaw, Assistant Ropes Course Instructor

Yvonne brings comprehensive experience and knowledge to NexLevel Challenge. She has sailed for years and holds her ASA certification, so learning to tie knots and climb ropes was nothing new. She is also certified in belaying and rappelling. Yvonne has owned and operated her own business for many years and is an accountant by trade. Yvonne is excited to be working with other family members to provide a safe environment to promote and develop positive growth and change in individuals, youth groups and corporations.

Lynn Crawford, Assistant Ropes Course Instructor

Lynn believes in our company mission that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a happier more fulfilling life and she is committed to support and encourage our participants to be the best they can be. She proved to be an integral part of our training. Lynn knows first hand how to take that next step, to step out of one’s comfort zone leaving limiting beliefs behind, thus proving it is possible to live to a greater potential.
